Susan Adler
Executive Director
Susan Adler has spent 25 years in the nonprofit sector, working
at the national, state and local levels. Her expertise is in strengthening
and growing small nonprofit organizations. She is especially effective
at working with Boards and organization members to address complex
issues that need public support.
Prior to joining NWABR, Susan spent four years as Executive Director
of the Seattle Alliance for Education, a nonprofit Board of Seattle
corporate leaders who offered their management expertise to help
the Seattle School Board, Superintendent and senior staff restore
public confidence. Before moving to Seattle in 1987, she spent over
15 years working on state and federal education policy for the nation's
governors and legislators in Washington, D.C.
Susan has been Executive Director at NWABR since January 1998 and
has succeeded in recruiting talented staff, which have played critical
roles in raising new funds to support programming efforts.

NWABR is a 501(c)3 organization. All contributions
are tax deductible.
The NWABR web site was made possible by funding from the National Center for
Research
Resources and the National Institutes of Health through a Science Education
